Deep Clean vs Standard Clean

Every home has a starting line.
Where's yours?

Our team doesn't have different levels of effort. The only difference is how many hours it takes to get yours where it needs to be.

Stay Clean

  • If someone stopped by, I'd open the door
  • My shower door is clear
  • My home is in good shape, just can't keep up
  • My toilet bowl is mostly clean and white
  • My shower floor is white
  • A couple hours and this place looks perfect

Get Clean

  • I'd need a day's notice before guests come
  • My shower door is hazy
  • It's gotten ahead of me and it's starting to show
  • My toilet bowl is yellow or orange
  • My shower floor is dingy
  • I need someone to get my home back on track

Start Over

  • I've quietly stopped having people come over
  • My shower door is fogged
  • I just don't know where to start anymore
  • My toilet bowl has a hard dark ring
  • My shower floor is dirty
  • I really need this to feel like my home once again
The difference

Same finish line. Different starting line.

Both our standard and deep cleans follow the same 49-Point Checklist, so the finish line is the same: a spotless home. The difference is where you start. A standard clean maintains a home that’s already in good shape, while a deep clean is a hard reset where every surface is scrubbed, degreased, and restored instead of just wiped down. That extra work takes time: a 2,300 sqft home that takes about 5 labor hours to maintain can take closer to 10 for a proper deep clean.

Quick explanation on labor hours: Labor hours are the total hours of work performed, counted per person, Example: 1 person working 1 hour is 1 labor hour, and 3 people working together for 3 hours is 9 labor hours. Typically we try to keep cleanings to 2-3 hours long so that we are not in your home all day.

When to go deep

When in doubt, start over.

You’re likely due for a deep clean if it’s been 6 months or more since a professional cleaning, if this is your first time hiring a cleaning service, or if you’re seeing fogged shower glass, black rings in toilet bowls, or dust that won’t wipe off with a finger. If a home that needs a deep clean gets booked as a standard clean, our team runs out of hours before they run out of things to clean. The home will look much better, but we can’t back it with our 100% Clean Guarantee without the time to finish the job. When in doubt, we recommend the deep clean as this gives us ample time to bring your home to the level of clean you deserve!

100% Clean Guarantee

Our team cleans the entire time they're in your home. But if your home needs 5 hours and you book 3, you get 3 hours of great cleaning, not a finished home. We can't stretch time. Our 100% Clean Guarantee only applies when the service matches the starting condition.

Loose items, dishes + clutter

Dishes in the sink or stuff on the counters? We need clear surfaces to clean them. You can either clear them before we arrive, book us taking care of it as an add-on, or we utilize your cleaning hours to get to them first.
