TERMS OF SERVICE FOR SUNRISE MAIDS©
Welcome to Sunrise Maids©. By using our cleaning services, you agree to comply with our Terms of Service and related policies. Please read these terms carefully to understand your rights and obligations. If you do not agree with these terms, do not use our services and cancel your cleaning immediately. We reserve the right to update these terms without prior notice, so please check this page periodically for updates. Your continued use of our services indicates acceptance of the updated terms.

WHO WE ARE
Sunrise Maids© is an independent, locally owned, and operated cleaning company. All of our team members are fully insured and have passed a background check.

GENERAL POLICIES

100% CLEAN GUARANTEE TERMS

At Sunrise Maids©, we strive to provide excellent service and satisfaction with every cleaning. Our 100% Clean Guarantee ensures that if any task from our cleaning checklist is not completed to your satisfaction, we will promptly address it at no extra cost.

REFUNDS AND DISCOUNTS
Our policy does not include refunds or discounts for cleaning services. If you’re dissatisfied, we will return to your property and do whatever is necessary to correct the issue at no additional cost. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

SCOPE OF THE 100% CLEAN GUARANTEE
Please note that we do not offer refunds or discounts if you identify issues with the cleaning after the 24-hour window or for matters unrelated to our cleaning checklist. It is your responsibility to notify us within this timeframe to qualify for the 100% Clean Guarantee.

EXCEPTIONS AND LIMITATIONS OF THE GUARANTEE
We cannot be held responsible for any changes or damage that occur in your home after our cleaning is completed. This includes situations where pets, children, or other factors cause the property to become dirty or disordered after we have finished. To avoid misunderstandings, we recommend conducting a brief walkthrough after our cleaning or contacting us immediately if you have any concerns.


CANCELLATION TERMS

All weekday appointments canceled within 24 hours of your scheduled appointment will incur a $50 fee per cleaner. If you cancel within 24 hours, you will be charged the full cleaning amount. Cancellations with more than 24 hours’ notice will receive a full refund. Saturday appointments are non-refundable.

SATURDAY CLEANINGS

Saturday appointments are non-refundable. If you cancel a Saturday appointment you will be charged the full cleaning amount, as we allocate significant resources for these bookings.

WHY CANCELLATIONS HAVE FEES
When booking an appointment, we reserve a substantial portion of our cleaners’ day for your property. Late cancellations mean we cannot reassign our staff, leading to lost revenue and disruption. We may offer alternative arrangements to minimize the impact, such as completing the cleaning without your presence or rescheduling to another convenient time.

FLEXIBLE ARRANGEMENTS TO KEEP YOUR APPOINTMENT
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us as soon as possible. Our team is here to help and will work with you to find a suitable solution. If you have questions about our cancellation policy or need to discuss your specific situation, please don’t hesitate to call our office.


DAMAGES & BREAKAGE

If we are responsible for breaking or damaging any of your property during a cleaning, we will take care of it through repair or replacement. It is essential that you notify us immediately after the cleaning if you notice any damage. Prompt notification ensures we can address the issue quickly and effectively. Please note that perceived or imperceptible conditions, such as germs, allergens, microbial presence, or any other non-visible or intangible elements, do not constitute damage under this agreement and are therefore not covered. Additionally, damages caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to pet behavior or incidents occurring after our cleaning has concluded, are not covered.


LOCKOUT FEE
If our team is dispatched but unable to enter your property (due to double-bolt locks, uncontained animals, or being turned away), a lockout fee equal to the regular cleaning price will be assessed.


PAYMENT AND BILLING
We accept credit and debit cards only. To secure your appointment, we place a hold on the payment three days before the service date. This isn’t a charge, and you’ll only be billed after the cleaning is completed. This method ensures efficient scheduling and resource allocation. If invoices remain unpaid for more than 90 days, they will be sent to collections.


CLUTTER-FREE ENVIRONMENT POLICY
At Sunrise Maids©, we request that clients provide a clutter-free environment to enable efficient cleaning. If excessive clutter is present, it may impede our ability to complete the cleaning within the scheduled time. Should this occur, we may be unable to clean your home effectively, or additional charges may apply if extra time is required and approved by you.

SAFETY AND HEAVY LIFTING RESTRICTIONS
For the safety of our team and to comply with insurance regulations, our staff is prohibited from moving heavy objects or standing on furniture. Additionally, our safety policy restricts the use of ladders and handling any biohazards, including pet or human fluids, rodent feces, and mold. While this may limit our ability to clean certain areas, we utilize extension poles and other tools to reach most places safely and effectively.

SECURITY ALARM PROTOCOL
If your home is equipped with a security alarm, please ensure it is deactivated on the day of our visit. Alternatively, you may provide us with the necessary code and instructions to disable the alarm. Our team will re-activate the alarm upon departure. Please note that Sunrise Maids© is not responsible for any alarms triggered accidentally during our service.

PET POLICY
For the safety and health of our cleaning teams, please secure your pets and manage any clean-up prior to our arrival. Our policy prohibits our teams from cleaning homes that are flea-infested or require the removal of animal excrement. If our staff feels threatened by any animals on the premises, we reserve the right to refrain from cleaning your home.


LEGAL COMPLIANCE
You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations while using our services. We reserve the right to investigate complaints or violations and take appropriate action, including reporting suspected unlawful activities to authorities and sharing relevant information, consistent with our Privacy Policy.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Our cleaning service’s name, logo, and other branding elements are protected by trademark laws. Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited. You are not permitted to use our intellectual property without prior written consent.

JURISDICTION AND GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of Texas, United States, and any disputes shall be resolved within its jurisdiction. Legal action must be brought within one year of the cause of action, or it will be permanently barred.

CHANGES TO SERVICES OR TERMS
Sunrise Maids© may update its services, policies, or these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of our services after such changes indicates your agreement with the revised Terms.

• Clean and polish appliances (microwave, stovetop, blender, etc.)
• Wipe down containers, holders
• Clean counters (behind & under items)
• Polish stone counters with microfiber cloth
• Use bleach cleaner to remove sink stains
• Polish stainless steel
• Clean glass on ovens, microwaves
• Remove cobwebs under cabinets

BATHROOM CLEANING
• Dust, sweep, vacuum before cleaning
• Scrub, sanitize toilet (top to bottom, base, corners)
• Clean shower/tub, tiles, sinks & counters
• Polish fixtures

We provide all equipment and cleaning supplies but if you have specific cleaning supplies or equipment you would like us to use please leave them out and let us know at the office so we can inform your cleaner.
